A bit closer to some closure...
I received my book in the mail about 2 weeks ago from Shelley!! It is the most perfect thing I can imagine. Im going to do a very quick (much needed) plug here. If you want to turn ANY of your pics into a great/high quality book you can easily do so at http://www.blurb.com/
They are an amazing way to really capture your memories. My lil sis is going to take her wedding and honeymoon pics and turn them into books. :)
Ok...getting back to my story.... As I said before...my camera broke 1 week into the trip and I really just relyed on Sab, Shelley and ALlison taking pics for me. Well, needless to say when all my buds were developing pics and sharing them with family and friends....I wasn't. I can't tell you how hard this was for me. NOt that I had to have the pics to remember but b/c of all of the changes that were occuring in my life at the time (move, newjob) I just c0uldn't talk about the trip. It took a great friend to help me realize that I just needed to turn to God to just break my heart all over for my girls in Zambia. Ya know...it's simply amazing how quick God is to hear our cries. Cause break my heart, He did! The one thing I was so scared for was going back to "business as usual" when I returned home. I have relized however that this is inevitable. It's ok. Im not supposed to quit working, caring for family and friends, etc. HOWEVER...what I am called to do is share my story, strive to show mercy and grace towards others, and most importantly continue to pray for each and every one of my girls I ministered to while in Africa.
So, if you have seen me and I have NOT showed you my Africa book...ask me too!! I love this book and it is a wonderful tool to help me share my story. If you are a friend in Dallas...have no fear...I will be there the weekend of Sept. 26-28th. I want to see you and I can't wait to share!!
I love you and appreciate your patience while Ive been getting adjusted to life here in WM and more than anything I appreciate your support. Those words/prayers spoken aloud or in silent.
Love Kelli!!!
